Whoever thought I would have found my twin In a place as crappy as CPF? one of my lecturers mentioned, if you see a lecturer with this grumpy and frowning face the whole day, what would be the first impression that come straight into ur mind? he is cold, unfriendly, highly irritated, and wad more hate his job...well i guess most of us would have at least have 1 of the impression...mmm i guess its natural. well the truth might actually be exactly the opposite, he may love his job, friendly and a warm person just that he has this chronic backache that casued him to have this frompy look. makes real sense! i have countless people making pass comments or remarks on people that we hardly know or worst still, dunno at all. what right do we have to pass such baseless comments? none. i would dare say most of us would at some point or another be guilty of such behavior, me not excluded. therefore the next time, before u wan to make any comment on a person, think again - education - had it managed to achieve its aim of producing capable, moral young people for the future of the country? it realli leaves me in serious doubt, capable it may be but moral? mm..*ponders seriously* ever wondered how did the scam of SIA occured? ppl with the brains but used it for the wrong purposes. well, in my 1 yr in uni, i have personally witnessed project group mates scooped to low hand tactics to obtain their goals - which is to fare better than their so called ''friends''. well, i have also heard many stories from many of my friends that this is prevalent and common in sch, well if education is just about producing academically well endowed students, it had done so. if character building is also part of it, im sorry but i think it had failed terribly. well, although it might just be the minority but it is sufficient for these few black sheeps to totally tarnish the image of the institution. for me, before i lament on any sch assignments, tutorials, readings or exams!! i will always remind myself of the route that i took to be here. defin not an easy one and i really appreciate the opportunity to study. heh..well might be mundane at times, but one thing good is that i am learning something new everyday! just minus the exams please haha.. saw in the papers, today that there is this Iranian lady, carrying this slogan : nuclear energy is our obvious right. and hey, i agree..surprising? well well, after a chapter on International Relations and talking about realism, it made sense anyway, they did not sign any non proliferation treaty and who in the world can judge that the US are morally right to possess nuclear power while ''rouge'' states such as Korea DPR and Iran cant as they may misuse. the world is about perceptions. kk..better be back to my books, lots of readings to catch up and i better do it early! ciao - untitled2 - haha..cannot think of anything better, well, getting used to the mods im taking this sem, 3 of my mods sounds real similar even the texts are similar. can work both ways i think, hope is for the gD! anw, i really need to catch up on my readings and 1 thing i can confirm, im still in holiday mode lo cause today when the lect mentioned smth abt the reading written by ''Baylis'', the first thing that came to my mind was Baileys Irish Cream! whee..my fav alcoholic drink. yum yum..i think i shld drink it later before it expires! whee^^ i realise i like politics and socio cause both are subjects that i can observe and understand those happenings that happen around me..heh k bye for now trust - hard to gain, easy to lose, -how true can that be reality is wad u seem to be, it might not necessarily be so. escaping from reality is not a option, its a choice. its the making the best of a situation that u live in that makes the difference. heard over the radio - abt singlehood, i agree completely, self discovery is when u are single. finding myself, living the lifestyle i wan, and tts really me. this few sentences dun really flow but are just my random tots. -madness- ppl mugging in library frm day1 of school, maybe even before during the hols, madness? haha maybe something worse? well, peer pressure? maybe. for me nah..i dun realli care wad people do, i set my own pace to study. do the best i can and watever results i achieved is another matter cause i do not have regrets. for my last 2 sems, i can say tt. not outstanding results but no regrets nevertheless, as long as this continues, im pleased. -thai- sawadeekup....ka boon ka haha..100 baht sir, cannot, wah lau..heh - good, bad, worst - wad a title! dunno how i got it anyway. well well, failure, dissapointment, agony, reflections, i guess these words sum up my feelings? yep!! that shall be it. well, after my emotions settled, i was back to my happy self by.......of course retail theraphy! haha..finally bought the niceeeeee nike shoes. im loving it, it looks prettier by the day, hr, min, sec...ok shall stop here. hey peeps, tata will be back on mon! whee...thailand here i come -first day of skolah- well after a fun filled 3mths of hols, its back to the books again..boo!! hmm..got to get myself ''orientated'' with where the lectures theatres are..kinda forgotten! haha... cant imagine rite?! first lecture was social research and methods..mm sounds boring *yawn* and is boring! i kept yawning thruout..haha wads new? boring wad not my fault. -fireworks!! whee~~- haha...2 entries a day! oh my..just back frm the fireworks thingy and it was really great! trust me it was one of the best fireworks experience tt i ever had though it was abit short. The whole experience was memorable to say the least. no no...should be exotic! firstly wad we did was get some stuff from carrefour which included cheese, apple cider and pizza. interesting hur~ following that we walked all the way up sheares bridge and we chose a spot to have our mini ''picnic''. Jene unexpectedly popped the ''champagne'' which caused quite a stir but it was hilarious ok! everyone was like looking at us! haha...it really felt new yorkie and parisie haha...anyway thats the life i want to live...well well the fireworks was marvellous. the whole atmosphere, the whole sky lited up like theres no tomorrow ''abit over'' haha..but the 2 fireworks that really captivated me were the fine and dazzling gold sparks that rained over the entire skyline, the other was similar in style but in a more disorderly fashion. those 2 were so amazingly beautiful. now closing my eyes. the images could simply be played in my mind. following that we walked all the way to marina bay. my first time! haha..i din noe it could be reached my foot and we set by the riverside. with live band playing behind us and the water lashing onto the riverbed, it was simply awesome!! hey! the red beret police that lined the entire route to the marina bay mrt were extremely irritating! we were like highly wanted criminals and were like being lead to holocaust or smth like tt...pls la! wad will tourists think man. worst still, the police could still say ''hey ppl..in twos please'' arrrgh couldnt stand..i told darren must we put our fingers on our lips? ''wad if im single? must i raise my hand to tell the police that i came alone, and mr policeman can u help me find a partner? idiots!! it just put a slight damper to an amazing nite! wheeeee...i nv felt so ''protected''...yea rite...booo...haha -I Luv Willy Wonker!- charlie and the choco factory! i've not read the ronald dahl book and this movie really made me wan to buy it...where can i find the ommpa lummpa MV? oh my the ''I love Willy Wonker...'' is stuck in my head and imagine dancing the dance in any club, oh my...i think it will be the most retro and in dance steps! haha...''woOOoG...ka''! ''Bonnnng" - glass elevator haha....oh no im crazy! i always am anyway..okok a great movie in my opinion..a few scenes actually touched me, first would be when charlie willingly gave up the chance to go to the choco factory knowing that he could exchange it for quite abit of cash, although he had a hard hard time looking for the golden ticket, the selflessness, unselfishness, i think theres something where we could all learn from. the other would also be when willy wonker being treated by his dentist dad, eventually recognising his son from his set of teeth - similar to mine! hahaha...cannot imagine the mouth being stretched by barbed wires?!?! izzit real? ok..well *touching i suppose...lastly the company i had yday was so compatible with the movie, why? cause.....equally mad. happy just 1 word to sum up my feelings. today i shall abandon my philosophical side of me and unleash the himbo in me...wahahhaha. kk i simply love my last 2 weeks of my hols - its so enjoyable. whee~ this goes to prove rite, ur hols need not be long. k actually i quite enjoyed and missed the time when im working cos of the ppl ~~ firstly congrats to TWIN!! she is attached...whee~ happy for her . im so packed these days but i find it v fulfilling, and wad a gd time to come as well cos its near the end of hols which mean another crazy 3 mths before i could rest again. im gg msia tomorrow!! whee...hope can get some gd buys! oh ya...its also scandal-us week which mean 2 gatherings, bbq plus movie? hopefully both are successful. and im gg thailand next week!! yep during the first week of school...haha so fun!! ponning sch for fun! so excited abt the trip, think it has been 8 yrs since i last went to thailand - land of shopping! k tts all for now! bye peepzs... |
